In the meantime I'll give the 32-bit version of Reaper a try. Being able to run the 32-bit version of Sonar (and using totally separate MIDI channels and ASIO channels) would be awesome.

Plus when doing that I don't have the benefit of a single double-click to load a project with everything in it, ready to go.

But what about running them at the same time? I have had some success with running the orchestra in Sonar and using the standalone versions of those 32-bit sample players (Toontrack solo, Kompakt standalone) at the same time, but I needed to use DirectSound drivers with higher latency settings than I'd like for the 32-bit guys - and there are still occasional audio artifacts. I have also used it on a Windows 7 and Windows Vista computer and it ran just as fine on those. It ran very well and never crashed or gave me any sorts of glitches or issues. I saw that some people have installed both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Sonar to run for different scenarios. The Toontrack Superior Drummer 2.0 installed on my computer running Windows XP without any problems. :( From what I read about bit bridge, it's supposed to load things into their own process/memory space outside of the main app, but it didn't work for me. I also want to run other 32-bit sample players (Toontrack's Superior Drummer 2.0, East West's Symphonic Choirs/Kompakt, etc.) but they won't load/work in Sonar when the total system memory usage is over 2GB. I'm running a large orchestral template on a slave XP 圆4 machine with East West's Quantum Leap Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Plus PLAY Edition (henceforth referred to as EWQLSO) using about 4GB of memory (out of the 8GB on the system). Can I run the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Sonar 7 at the same time?
